SEPTEMBER: Dahlias
D-D-D- DAHLIAS!!

I hope that pronunciation and exclamation came off the same way it did in your head as it did mine. My son’s name is Damien, so I have been announcing his name with the triple “Deh” sound precursor. :)
This month’s pick is the beautiful, enchanting dahlia. It comes in hundreds of varieties and colors; they certainly DO NOT disappoint. These are late summer to early fall flowers. While they are packed with a punch and can be show stoppers, they do tend to have a shorter vase life.
Dahlia meaning = dignity
(Cafe Au Lait Dahlias are pictured on the left and right. They are show stoppers!)
Thanks for stopping by!
Best and blossoms,
Lana
